Rain and hearings

Published on July 21, 2022 by ARisoLeave a comment

It smelled like rain today.

It made me stop,
think

and look to the sky
with a smile.

Now, I’m listening
and watching
a live hearing,

not understanding

the red carpets
rolled out
for someone

guilty

when innocent people
have been killed,

quicker
and for
less.
